Web Hosting Company Increases Revenues by 896% During 2005 - 2008

As reported to us by Cheap Website Hosting, HostGator, a Houston, Texas area provider of web hosting services has been ranked as the 239th fastest-growing privately owned company in the United states on the Inc. 5000 list for 2009.
HostGator’s revenues grew by 896% during the 2005 through 2008 period. The 2009 Inc. 5000 list measured revenues during that period of United States-based, privately held, for profit, independent companies having had revenues of at least $200,000 from 2005 and having at least $2 million in 2008, according to a PRWEB press release of August 25, 2009.
Ranked 20th in the category of Business Products & Services nationally, HostGator was also ranked 6th in the Houston-SugarLand-Baytown area of the state of Texas.
Despite the previous year, 2008 Inc. 5000 ranking of 21 overall with HostGator’s 2007 revenue figures of $18.7 million, the privately owned web hosting company has seen nearly doubled revenue figures in the period from 2007 to 2008 – to the impressive $34.2 million.
According to HostGator.com Affiliate Director, Jay Weissman, the web hosting firm has seen substantial growth in every area of service offered. HostGator’s hosting service areas include shared hosting, reseller hosting, and dedicated servers.
The company provides hosting for over 2.2 million websites and supports more than 50,000 resellers worldwide. Not only does HostGator offer technical support 24 hours each day, seven days of the week, its leading edge web hosting tools include free billing software for its resellers and an access to a library of 4,500 high quality web templates, free of charge.
